The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held on January 26, 2020, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and was chock full of electrifying performances and excitement. We got to watch a heart touching tribute to Kobe Bryant by Alisha Keys and Boys II Men, be a part of history as 18 year old Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O'Connell swept the Grammys with 5 wins, and even witnessed some truly outrageous red carpet looks.
The 2020 Grammys had our favourite musicians flaunting the most extravagant, over the top nail art designs and we loved every single second of it.

1. Billie Eilish
We’ve got to start this off with the queen Billie Eilish herself. She didn’t just bag a whopping 5 awards at the Grammys; she looked fabulous doing it as well. Eilish had on a green Gucci ensemble and had the nails to match, complete with the Gucci brand logo painted on. The pressings were hand painted by her nail artist Emi Kudo using green and bright neon yellow colors and they looked absolutely tasty.

2. Cardi B
Cardi is known for her over the top blinged out nails but she really outdid herself this time. The rapper’s nails were adorned with over a 100 Swaroski crystals and they looked gorgeous. It seems like crystal-covered nail art is having a major moment.
3. Lizzo
The artist was the most nominated musician at the Grammys with 8 nominations in various different categories so of course she had to reflect that with her nail art. Lizzo sported white nails with a metallic number eight painted on each finger. Keeping with her gorgeous ensemble, the singer also rocked some sparkly stones hanging off each of her pointy tips.
4. Rosalía
The Spanish singer and songwriter won a Grammy but really should’ve also won an award for the exquisite crystal encrusted nail art she flaunted. Her nail artist Yvett G claims she had to complete the work of art in a moving car which is seriously impressive in and of itself.

5. Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa opted for a purple checkerboard style nail art with rows of tiny crystals for the 2020 Grammys, and we must say that her nails looked absolutely gorgeous. It seems like the singers outfit choice was 90’s inspired, and the nail art definitely matched the aesthetic beautifully.

6. Billy Porter
Billy Porter always stuns with his red carpet looks and his outfit for the 2020 Grammys was no exception. Wearing a shiny blue jumpsuit with a matching jacket and bedazzled hat Billy simply looked ethereal. His makeup consisted of blue eyeshadow and lipstick with accents of silver thrown in, and that brings us to his nails. His silver painted nails were covered with a few swarovski crystals and perfectly matched his makeup, kudos to his nail artist for creating something so simple yet breathtaking.

Like we said before, crystal covered nail art is having its moment. JoJo too had crystals be a part of her nail art look but with a twist, the singers nail art was a clear glass like style adorned with minute crystals. The delicate look perfectly complemented her jewellery and dress.

Cabello looked absolutely stunning come Grammy night in her backless black gown, which had cutouts and tiny crystals embedded in the bodice. The singers nails perfectly complemented the dress as well, Cabello put a tiny twist on the classic french manicure by opting for black tips instead of the traditional white. A welcome trend brought forth by the spitfire.

The news of Kobe Bryant passing away in a helicopter crash came hours before the Grammys were set to start. Priyanka Chopra’s last minute hand drawn 24 on her french manicured fingernails was a beautiful way to honor the legend, his daughter Gigi, and the other victims of the unfortunate accident.
10. Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen looked lovely in a low-cut orange Yanina Spring 2019 couture gown and had the nails to match. Teigen went with a clean nude look for her nails which combined with the dress gave her an aura of elegance and sophistication. She was absolutely glowing.

11. Bebe Rexha
Bebe Rexha ditched the dress and went with a see through chainmail turtleneck and tuxedo combo and boy are we glad she did. The edgy chic look was spectacular and made her simple pale pink really nails stand out. We loved the color and finish of the nails themselves and how well the rest of the ensemble juxtaposed them. Sometimes keeping things simple can elevate your look in a big way.

12. Camila Cabello's Nail Art #2
Camila didn’t have just one nail look for her Grammy appearance. She had two. For her “First Man” performance Cabello ditched the black french manicure look and chose to go for something a little simpler. Cabello went with a baby pink shade on her almond shaped nails and we loved the simplicity of it. The minimalistic look went perfectly with the rest of her ensemble and lifted it up to a whole other level.
